Homemade at Highlands

  • No One Goes Hungry at Highlands

We eat three filling meals per day, family-style by cabin. The food at Highlands is terrific. It’s hot, homemade and delicious.

Our head chef of more than two decades, Highlands Hall of Famer, Lois Craig, keeps our bellies happy and full. Breakfast starts your day off right with hot or cold cereal, fruit and a hot dish like pancakes or muffins and sausage.

Lunch is our big meal of the day – spaghetti and meatballs or roasted chicken with broccoli and warm rolls. And every Sunday afternoon we have turkey dinner complete with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. (And the smell of yeast rolls baking drifts over during Sunday Assembly – yum!)

For supper, you can look forward to lighter meals like soup and subs, pizza and tacos.

  • Picky eaters club

If you have a picky eater, don’t worry. You might be amazed what a hungry boy will try! If your son has a special nutritional need, please contact us. We can accommodate boys with Celiac disease and other health conditions.
